EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

To sit for the Exam: 120 semester hours including a bachelor's degree or higher, with at least 27 semester hours in accounting coursework and 21 semester hours in business-related subjects. For licensure: 150 total semester hours including the same accounting/business coursework.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

1 year (1,800 hours) of qualifying professional experience under the supervision of a licensed CPA, gained within a three-year period and completed no more than five years before the license application.
