EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

To sit for the Exam: at least 120 credit hours or a bachelor's degree, plus at least 24 semester credits in accounting-related subjects (accounting, auditing, business law, economics, finance, tax, or technology). Effective June 30, 2025, licensure requires a baccalaureate or higher degree and 150 semester credits total, including at least 24 semester credits of accounting/auditing/business-law/economics/technology/finance/tax content plus an additional 12 semester credits in accounting/auditing or tax subjects.
